Sometimes we need a reminder of God’s incredible love for us. We all have those days where we are struggling and need to stop for a moment, breathe, and remember that God is still with us. In the middle of all of life’s many storms, He is still in control. He is faithful, He hears us, and most of all- He loves us more than we could ever possibly fathom. Sister, I hope these verses encourage you today and that His peace which surpasses all understanding would guard your hearts in Christ Jesus. May God bless you and help you to rest in His great love.

8 Things God Wants You to Remember

1. I will give you rest

  • “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” – Isaiah 41:10
  • “It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; He will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.” – Deuteronomy 31:8
  • “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” – Matthew 28:20

3. I will strengthen you

  • “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.” – Psalm 55:22
  • “But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31
  • “The LORD upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down.” – Psalm 145:14

4. I hear you & will answer you

  • “And this is the confidence that we have toward Him, that if we ask anything according to His will He hears us. And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of Him.” – 1 John 5:14-15
  • “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” – John 15:7
  • “But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.” – Micah 7:7
  • “Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will hear you. You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.” – Jeremiah 29:12-13
  • “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened.” – Matthew 7:7-8

5. I am for you

  • “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son but gave him up for us all, how will He not also with Him graciously give us all things? Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is to condemn? Christ Jesus is the one who died- more than that, who was raised- who is at the right hand of God, who indeed is interceding for us.” – Romans 8:31-34
  • “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!” The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,” – Romans 8:15-16

  • “And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:19
  • “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will He not much more clothe you-you of little faith?” – Matthew 6:28-30
  • “Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” – Luke 12:6-7

8. I love you

  • “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord. ” – Romans 8:37-39

  • “But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.  We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies.” – 2 Corinthians 4:7-10
